PARAFFIN WAX HISTORY

Paraffin wax was introduced in the 1850’s when chemists learned how to efficiently separate the naturally occurring waxy substance from petroleum and refine it. Paraffin was a boom to candle-making because it burns cleanly, consistently and was more economical to produce than other candle fuel.

MIDNIGHT CANDLE COMPANY WAX

All quality candle waxes burn cleanly and safely. We use FDA approved, fully refined paraffin wax to produce our candles. Of all the candle waxes available, paraffin has the ability to hold the most fragrance oil when wax is solid and also has the strong ability to “throw” the fragrance while the candle is burning.
